Single-origin black coffee grown on the strongholds of Kilimanjaro. This Arabica has a penetrating and slightly bitter aroma with vinous and fruity nuances. A cup of character with strong hints and an aftertaste of toasted almonds. Notes: Candied apricot and toasted almonds. This high-grown coffee enjoys a special microclimate due to the volcanic soil and a source of freshwater that flows near the plantation. In Tanzania, Arabica coffee mostly grows in the northern part of the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, under the shade of banana plants. This exotic characteristic of the plantation gives particular aromatic hints to the coffee grown in this region.
